In the Mathematics Learning Area students learn about Mathematics, what it is and how it is used in making decisions and solving problems. The study of Mathematics enhances the students' ability to:

In Years 8, 9 & 10 students study mathematics in six clusters, derived from the Curriculum Framework. They are placed into classes working at Levels 3, 4 or 5 depending on their ability.
