Transition to High School
Year 7 students in Western Australian public schools now attend secondary schools. Educating our Year 7 students in secondary schools will benefit them by giving them access to the specialist teaching and facilities demanded by the new Australian Curriculum.
Moving from primary school to secondary school is a significant change for every child. It can be daunting leaving the comforts of primary school, yet it can be exciting as children wonder with anticipation what high school holds.
At Darling Range Sports College, we have a dedicated team to ensure the transition for all students is as smooth as possible. Our team includes:
Mr Rob Lawson – Principal
Mr Brent Kupsch – Associate Principal, Years 7
Mr Richard Honey – Manager Student Services, Year 7
Mrs Kate Cunningham – Year 7 Coordinator
