Chaplain

Our school Chaplains, Michaela Smith and Kudzie Zindoga, provide a range of services to our students, families and staff.  They include:

  • Providing pastoral care and support to address the emotional, physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of students and staff.
  • Speaking to students on a range of topics such as bullying, relationships, managing grief and loss, leadership skills, drug use and personal growth. Also to organise groups to come and speak to students.
  • Assisting students, families and staff to access appropriate agencies and support services in our community.
  • Referral for students dealing with sexual abuse, domestic violence and drug use.

Support is offered by way of listening, encouraging, caring and assisting in access to other services, agencies and community networks as required, without judgement or prejudice.

Our Chaplains are located within Student Services and students are welcome to pop in.  Family members who wish to see our Chaplains can make an appointment by calling 9453 0129.
